Organizations often explain failed transformations by pointing to change fatigue: people are tired, resistant, or unwilling to change. But this explanation is convenient — and largely wrong. Based on research from McKinsey and Gartner and grounded in real-world transformation experience, this keynote challenges the myth of change fatigue. In reality, resistance rarely comes from unwillingness. It emerges when people don’t understand why change matters, how it connects to strategy, or what it means for their daily work. This session explores why most change initiatives fail to land — not because there is too much change, but because organizations fail to create shared clarity, ownership, and context. The keynote shows how Obeya, when used as a leadership and alignment system (not just a visual tool), creates the conditions for meaningful, sustained change. By making strategy visible, connecting outcomes to daily work, and enabling real dialogue across silos, Obeya shifts change from something that is “done to people” into something that is shaped together. Attendees will leave with a renewed perspective on resistance, leadership accountability, and the role Obeya plays in turning intent into adoption.
The session is hosted by Cegeka.
