Simone Cobben is Senior Manager Private Claims Handling at Achmea and responsible for a large operational domain handling complex private claims for brands such as Centraal Beheer, Interpolis, and FBTO. With an organization of approximately 250 professionals, she focuses on results, customer value, and continuous improvement in an environment where quality and speed have a direct impact on the customer experience.
Simone has developed into a strong leader in realizing organizational change within complex chains. She has extensive experience managing change and expert teams and was responsible for the execution of strategic transformations at the intersection of business, IT, and operations. Her strength lies in translating strategy into concrete results, with a focus on collaboration, ownership, and breaking down silos.
Within Achmea, Simone played an active role in the introduction and application of Obeya as a governance and collaboration model. Driven by her conviction that true acceleration arises from transparency and a shared focus, she deployed Obeya to improve decision-making and enable teams to deliver value faster and more effectively.
